Version privacy-notice-v4. Last updated 2026-10-14. A conventional template for a UK business, adopted as version 1 pending review by a solicitor; where it changes, the version number changes and customers on an earlier version are told.

Who we are

Ai Venture Studio Ltd, trading as AI Venture Studio, is the controller of the personal information described here. Contact [email protected] or write to 241A Selbourne Road, Unit 5, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU4 8NP. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller, registration reference ZC247639.

What we collect and why

When you request a quote or contact us

Your name, email address, phone number if you give it, your business name and what you tell us you need. We use it to reply, to prepare a quote and to follow up on that quote. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries we receive. If you do not become a customer we delete the enquiry after twelve months.

When you order

Your contact details, your country, the content you give us for your page (words, prices, opening hours, images, reviews you have permission to use) and the record of your order and payment. We use it to build and deliver what you ordered, to take payment and to keep the accounting records the law requires. Our legal basis is the contract with you and our legal obligations. We keep order records for six years after the end of the tax year in which the order was placed, as HMRC requires; the content of your page is kept while you are a customer and for twelve months after, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

When you register your interest

Your email address and, if you give them, what your business does and its name, with the page you signed up from. We also record the exact wording of the box you ticked, when you ticked it, and when you confirmed by the link we emailed you. We use it to send you one email when we launch and occasional updates about it, and to count, by trade and by page, how many people are interested. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Nothing is kept on the register until you confirm: an address that is not confirmed within 7 days is deleted. A confirmed registration is kept until you unsubscribe, or for twelve months after we launch, whichever comes first. The register is held only in our own platform's database; it is never passed to or used by anyone else. We protect the form from automated sign-ups with Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks the visit without setting a tracking cookie.

To be removed, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send, or email [email protected]. Your address is then deleted from the register and added to our do-not-email list, which we keep so that we never email you again.

When you visit this site

We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, does not identify you and does not follow you to other sites. We see counts of page views, the country and the type of device. The site sets no cookies of its own; see the cookie statement.

Payments

Card payments are taken by Stripe. We never see your full card number. Stripe's own privacy notice covers what it holds as an independent controller for fraud prevention and the law.

Who else handles your information

We use other companies to run our business. They act on our instructions and only for the purposes above. The categories, and the current providers in each, are:

  • Hosting and content delivery: Cloudflare, for this site, your page and its analytics.
  • Database and storage: Supabase, where the register of interest, quote requests, orders and the content you give us are held.
  • Payments: Stripe.
  • Email: Google Workspace for our mailbox and Resend for messages the platform sends you, such as the register's confirmation and order confirmations.
  • AI model providers: the platform builds and checks your page with AI, so the words you give us for the page pass to a model provider. We currently use Anthropic for your words. Pictures for your page are made and checked through OpenRouter, which receives only your type of trade and our design directions, never your business's name, its town or your own words, and keeps nothing (zero data retention). We use business accounts on which your content is not used to train models.
  • Answers to messages in your dashboard: when you send us a message in your dashboard, your message, the recent messages in that conversation and the details of your order pass to Anthropic, in the United States, which writes the answer. We use a business account on which your content is not used to train models. We never send a model your payment details, and we ask you not to give us special category information (such as health, religion or political views) about anyone. Where the answer cannot be given from our records, a person replies instead.
  • The assistant on this website: if you use the website assistant, what you type passes to Anthropic, in the United States, which writes the answers. The assistant says it is automated and answers from what this website says. We keep the conversation for twelve months, then delete it, with a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address to stop misuse. Please do not share health or other sensitive details with it.

Some of these providers store information outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, transfers rely on the UK's adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement, and you can ask us for details.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to our use of it, ask for it to be moved to someone else, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Email [email protected] and we reply within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

When this notice changes, the version number and date at the top change. Customers with an open order are told by email.
